Short Story Unit
In this unit, pupils get the chance to apply their previous learning of character and development onto the short story genre. They read widely and study various short stories, covering a variety of genres. Key texts used for study are Roald Dahl's The Landlady and Lamb to the Slaughter. Pupils also have the opportunity to create their own short story.
