"The University of Exeter have a long-standing relationship with Danesfield Church of England school. Over the years the school have supported the training of both Primary and Secondary trainees on the PGCE programme. Staff at Danesfield have always provided excellent mentoring support to our trainee teachers and we consistently receive positive feedback from PGCE trainees. We would like to thank Danesfield for their support and look forward to continuing our partnership."

A very warm welcome to you all.
We are so very proud of our Danesfield Community and as headteacher I am excited to be part of all the successes and achievements our pupils and staff experience day to day. The school has been part of the Williton, Watchet and Washford community since the late 1950s and is now part of Beacon Education which has opened up a wide range
of opportunities for our school to grow and thrive.
Our school offers a happy environment for all our staff and pupils; we value those facets that create the conditions that allow learning to thrive; ambition, pride, honesty and respect. We also value the ideal of scholarship in learning; the notion that we can all love a subject and what it has to offer outside of the classroom. Learning isn’t just about passing assessments and exams, success in these areas is important but form only part of what pupils will experience throughout their time at Danesfield.
We are very proud of the school and its successes over the years, whether they are academic, sporting, musical or in drama and the arts. This website can only provide a flavour of what the school has to offer, and I encourage you to visit us so you can find out more about Danesfield and its community.
Appointments can be made through the school office and I look forward to meeting you and sharing once again: how proud we all are to be part of Danesfield!
