NEWS
Well done to our Year 8 rounders team who won the Taunton Area Championships! In a brilliant effort against 6 other teams, they won all but 1 of their games to finish overall champions. A cracking group of girls who have made rounders training great fun every Thursday!
We are so proud of our Year 8 pupil Becky who was a national finalist in the Rotary Young Photographer competition with a stunning photograph of a butterfly in her garden.
We're very proud of year 8 pupil Harriet who achieved a placing at Crufts with her Miniature Wire haired Dachshund, Rocky (17months) . They were awarded Very Highly Commended in the Junior dog breed class. Harriet’s first show with Rocky was at Chippenham in April. She qualified for Crufts at the Houndshow in July, also winning Best Special Beginner in Breed.
Harriet, goes to Ringcraft at Oake Village hall with Wiveliscombe and District Canine Society, and has been a steward at their Open Show.
We recently staged Matilda the Musical Jr to a sell out audience - this has been the best show to date! The Head of Performing Arts was once again staggered by the standard of performance from the students.
